It’s 1994. Christmas Lights switch on.

On 34 Seymour Street in Trowbridge, Angel and Noel are gearing up for their best Christmas yet.

Angel wants an Action Man Mission Extreme and a t-shirt with Brian Harvey’s face.

Noel wants a new Tamagotchi (he forgot to feed his last one) and a Trowbridge Town FC Subbuteo set.

Dad just wants to play crazy golf indoors, same as every year.

Mum wants to go somewhere, on a train, anywhere really, except here.

But first they have to see Marti Pellow turn the lights on.

Miracle on 34 Seymour Street follows Angel and Noel as they journey through the decades, from 1994 to today. From childhood to adulthood. From East 17 to Rage Against The Machine, Home Alone to Love Actually.

A heartwarming story of a family trying to recapture the memory of an idealised Christmas, and of everyday miracles. Taking inspiration from stories shared by Trowbridge residents (and a few festive films), Miracle on 34 Seymour Street is a funny original play with songs that will leave you yearning for Christmases past that may never have existed.
